Here are more emails from soldiers to share with our readers.....
Ms. Nancy,
I just wanted to tell you and your Cadets again how wonderful you all are for us Soldiers. I received all 15 boxes of Christmas Stockings today and after 18 years of being a tough-minded Soldier, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. We will have our company Christmas party on the 19th and I will have all the gifts there for the Soldiers. I will take many pictures and email them to you as soon as I can. As I look at our Soldiers, young and old, you can see by there actions and expressions that this is a tough time of the year away from the ones they love. Your gifts of joy will bring smiles and laughter as we think of families, friends, Airborne Angel Cadets, and the reasons why we serve!
I hope all of your homes are filled with excitement, happiness, and love. You all represent the principles on which our country stands and I will be forever grateful.
Very Respectfully,
Michael
And another email:
Hey! I did see the mountain of care packages sent to Lisa. I am so jealous! She had an open house Christmas store last night. Was great. Hot cider. Cards. Snacks. Plus. 500 boxes in November. God bless you! You have me teary-eyed. Yes, being home for a few weeks of R & R will be great knowing I do not have to return to Iraq. We're proud to serve, but there's no place like home.

Thank you for your continued support during this holiday season. Even with the state of the economy, I am amazed at the generosity of the American people.
God Bless you this holiday season,

November Recap
Well, I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday. In reflection, we have so very much to be thankful for, many things that we, here in the United States, take for granted. Please take the time to remember our men and women in uniform serving in harm's way by keeping them in your prayers and if it moves you, send them a little something from home to let them know they are not forgotten .
November was a busy month for us and that was a wonderfully exciting thing!! With the help of two local companies, Wells Fargo Foothills and Marcus & Millichap hosting care packing parties on our behalf, we were able to bless thousands of soldiers with hundreds of care packages for the holiday season. Everything from candy filled stockings, christmas decorations, boxed card sets, blankets, sheets, knit hats, gloves, snacks, toiletries, Starbucks coffee, hot chocolate, hand warmers, calendars, you name it, went into these boxes. In addition, Voxofon and Cellphones for Soldiers donated thousands of phone cards for us to include in these boxes. The most precious gift to these soldiers is to be able to hear the voices of loved ones during their time away, especially at the holidays.
Our Airborne Angels group had our own packing party on November 18th and boxed up a record number of care packages this holiday season, hopefully bringing smiles and holiday cheer to many more soldiers. With the help of some strong, muscular soldiers from the Army, all boxes from our party were mailed in less than 3 hours at the post office the following day.
We continue to receive donations from kind hearted folks and will mail out the goodies as funds permit. We also continue to receive requests from soldiers asking for items and try to fulfill these requests as they come in. Please remember that if you are mailing to an APO/FPO address, the deadline to ship parcel post has passed. The deadline to ship priority is December 10th and this is pushing it for those boxes to arrive by Christmas. Since we mail throughout the year, please feel free to continue to contact us about shipments. Funds for postage remains our biggest challenge and is always greatly appreciated. Since this is an all volunteer organization, 100% of all donations goes toward either postage or the purchase of goods requested by soldiers.
Thank you for your continued support to help us succeed with our mission of sending a "little slice of home" to our soldiers. Without all of you, we could not make this possible.
Blessings and Happy Holidays,
Nancy
