How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2026?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Another email from one who received our cookies

We are still receiving emails and letters from soldiers who have received our boxes of cookies. Here is one of the latest. Please assist us in continuing to mail these cookies to our Heros. Just $30 will send a large box filled with approximately 25-30 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, water balloons, CD's, American flag, playing cards, microwavable popcorn, phone cards, and drink mix packets.

Nancy,

How is my favorite group of fellow Texans doing? We just got more goodies from you again! Thank you on behalf of all of us here and the forward deployers that come through here on their way to Afghanistan. The cookies are delicious and I gave them all away. I gave the phonecards to some younger troops so they could call home. I sincerely appreciate all that you and the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas do for us over here. We honestly can feel your love, support and appreciation half-way around the world. Thank you again for making a difference. You have touched many lives in a thoughtful way. I hope you are blessed for all your efforts. No good deed every goes unnoticed. Have a wonderful day.

Proud to Serve,
STEVE , Capt, USAF, MSC

More reponses to the care packages

Here are a few more of the recent messages from our soldiers serving overseas:

My name is SSG V and i received a package from you and your Cadets about a week ago. I wanted to send my thanks to you all for your support and all those who supported you in such a noble act of kindness. We absolutely love Girl Scout Cookies! They were a hit. I passed out boxes to all the departments and to the wounded soldiers who were in our ICU at the time. Thank you and God Bless.

Dear Nancy and the rest of the folks at Airborne Angel Cadets,
I wanted to pass on our appreciation for the snacks, cards and other items that you sent to us. It was a wonderful treat and happened to arrive the day before Easter, which made it even more appreciated. We're very remote out here and it's sometimes easy to feel out of touch and alone.
Your wonderful generosity makes such a huge difference to us out here, because it's a tangible way to receive a "piece of home", that personal touch that says you care. By the way, because your box arrived at a hospital (where I work), we were able to share the cookies with many of our Afghani patients as well. Have a great Easter and Thanks again

Thank your organization once again for the Soldiers of the 211th RSG from Corpus Christi, Texas. I have enclosed a few pictures of the faces you are supporting.

Ma'am,

Thank you so much for the wonderful response! It's amazing to think there are very kind and generous people like yourself that take time out of their busy day to help Soldiers. Words cannot describe how appreciative we are your actions.

We know we make sacrifices over here, but so do the many people back home. Sometimes I think our friends and families back home have a tougher job because they wonder about what's going, but still have to take care of everything back home while we are over here. It's just
great to know we still have support back home.

It's great to hear Airborne Angles Cadets has been around since 2005. You have done so much for all of the Troops. I know you always don't receive a thank you, but trust me all of the Soldiers appreciate everything you all are doing. Words cannot describe how much we appreciate all that you do!
Respectfully,
2LT Ashley C. (IRAQ)

The emails keep comin'

We have gotten several more emails this week from soldiers who have received our boxes of cookies. Here are a few more of them.....

Nancy

Very Kind of you and the group. We are enjoying our Girl Scout Cookies. All flavors for all people's tastes.

You and the folks who took the time to put this together are thoughtful. You have brightened our spirits (does not take much) and provided smiles "all-around."

Today we conducted a HUGE Humanitarian Assistance drop in several remote villages of Northern Afghanistan. I brought along 3 boxes of cookies. When the children received them, saw that it was cookies - they danced. Really, they danced holding the boxes over their heads...It was great.

 Best,
Good bless you and the crew.

Dear Airborne Angel Cadets,

I am the battalion adjutant for the 303rd Military Intelligence battalion. We just received the care package filled with Girl Scott cookies and other wonderful items. Myself and my fellow Soldiers want to thank you for the everything and the support your community has shown.
We want to let everyone who contributed know that we received your package and we all can't thank you enough! Not only do we appreciate the items, but the thoughts and prayers that come with it.

The Girl Scott cookies made our day and made us feel a little closer to home. It's folks like you that give us the drive and determination to win this war and, believe me, we are winning.

We just want you to know how much we appreciate your care package and for just thinking of us. Again, thank you all so very much and may God bless you.

Respectfully,
2LT Ashley C.

Mrs. Carter,

First of all, I would like to thank you and your troops for supporting our troops. We received the plethora of girl scout cookies you all mailed out and they disappeared about as fast as possible. Thank you also for you support of all of us out here. We greatly appreciate all the support and are not only happy, but proud to serve.

For me personally, I consider it an honor to be able to serve in the United States Marine Corps. For some background on myself, I am from Houston, Texas myself I most definitely took note of your group being based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. I am married and stationed out of San Diego, California.

The Marines you are directly supporting are aircraft electricians. We work on everything from the F-18 Hornets, the C-130 Hercules, through to the AH-1Z Super Cobras. Personally my main aircraft are helicopters and more specifically CH-53s and CH-46s. Regardless of what you may see on television Iraq is a pretty peaceful place now. That isn't to say that we aren't without incident but at this point we are no longer living the rough life eating MREs every night. For many of us it is our second or even third times out here and some have seen major changes. Once again though, thank you for the support and the cookies. If you wish to write back and ask questions, I will answer as much a I can as soon as I can.

Sincerely,
Cpl Jason S.

Cadets -

I always like to try and take the time to say thank you. It is a welcome sight to receive packages from home - no matter who or where they are from. Although we LOVE Girl Scout cookies, it always makes the Iraqi children smile to give them some(we eat them too). We like to tell the children who they are from and any Girl Scout parents out there can tell their scouts what a difference they are making with these children over here. I want you to know that you do not only make *us* happy, you make others happy, as well. Thank you again. We love all that you do for us!!!

Respect,

More emails!!

We received more emails today from the soldiers receiving our cookies sent last week.
Thanks, you Rock!
Nancy Carter and the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas,

We just received your package today. We can't thank you enough for your support to the troops. Thank you for the big box 'o Girl Scout cookies and other gifts. I heard the weather in Texas has been crazy, cold one day, hot the next. We have had some mild weather for the most part. We have had quite a few sand storms, more in the last month than I can remember during the whole tour the last time I was here.
I hope you are doing well. Time is going by relatively fast, at least for myself.
Hopefully the times flies by and we can go back to Fort Hood Texas and have a little time to ourselves. Thanks again!
