How can you help us send care packages to American troops in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff and donated warehouse space, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via our mobile website - m.airborneangelcadets.com, or via credit card through our Click and Pledge account.

2) Donate Goods - Many individuals, companies and organizations donate goods to our nonprofit for our U.S. soldiers, airmen, Marines and sailors. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any goods.

Watermere at Southlake phone card donation

The good folks at Watermere at Southlake (Texas) recently donated phone cards to help support our troops overseas. The phone cards will be included in the next care package shipments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Joycelyn Spellman of Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas visited the community and poses with some of the generous donors in the photo below. Thank you Watermere at Southlake!

From the Fort Worth Star Telegram Northeast edition:

USO visit

Several of our members and friends went to the USO today at DFW to see the troops and give them a good send off. It was very moving and somber to see such young faces going half way around the world to fight and protect our freedoms on foreign soil. My heart went out to all of them as we thanked them and gave them a box of Girl Scout cookies to go. God bless them and keep them safe.....

More requests from new platoons

As we get more requests from new platoons, it becomes increasingly difficult to send the items needed due to lack of funds. Please assist us with this worthy mission of providing care packages to our men and women serving in harm's way by sponsoring a small box for $25 or a large box for $75. Your sponsorship will include goodies for the box as well as the shipping cost. Let's remember to give our Heroes, who sacrifice so much, a little taste of home and let them know they are not forgotten. Your gift will truly be appreciated.

Thank you Plano Chamber of Commerce

A great big "THANK YOU" to the Plano Chamber of Commerce for hosting today's care packing party. The goodies and funds provided will definitely be appreciated by the soldiers. Thank you for remembering the many, many men and women serving in harm's way and for reminding them that we, at home, are continually praying for their safety and safe return home.
