Care Packages for Soldiers: American FOB in Afghanistan

How can you help us send care packages to American troops in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff and donated warehouse space, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via our mobile website - m.airborneangelcadets.com, or via credit card through our Click and Pledge account.

2) Donate Goods - Many individuals, companies and organizations donate goods to our nonprofit for our U.S. soldiers, airmen, Marines and sailors. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any goods.

May - 4H Straight Shooters youth hold Shoot A Thon to benefit troops.

Troop levels

Non-combat troops are to remain in Afghanistan through 2024 according to the 2012 Enduring Strategic Partnership Agreement between the U.S. and Afghanistan. Combat troops are scheduled to be removed by the end of 2014.

"Panetta said that he recently visited U.S. forces in Kuwait, 'which are part of a robust Gulf posture that includes roughly 50,000 personnel, dozens of ships, fighters, bombers, and advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms.'"
