How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

November troop messages from Afghanistan

Below are 10 recent messages from our troops in Afghanistan. Many are starting to receive our Christmas care packages. Some will be forwarded out to more remote locations.  The flour - baby powder (some use foot powder) are being used to mark clear paths in mine fields.

Thanks for the next shipment!  I will keep an eye out the next time we convoy to --- for the xmas boxes.  We are wrapping our tour up here ... so I am sure the xmas boxes will make a great parting peice.  We are all well here - due in large to your continued support.  As feedback, the flour/baby powder idea was a success, and if other units use baby powder as a marking tool, I would definitely recommend that for them, and as point man on many patrols, I can certainly testify that it works.  And with our Battalion packing up at ---, getting any quantity of baby powder was near to hopeless.  In many a way, Airborne Angels is our COP's post exchange!

We are looking forward to the next unit coming to relieve us in place.  They are elements of 1st Armored Division ...  It seems as if the Texans are really taking care of Bravo Company ...!

Thank you so much, Sincerely, William

Wow!  We just received several boxes from the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas and I am looking forward to sharing your gifts with the deployed troops here at Camp Eggers.  We will use the decorations in the common areas for everyone to enjoy.
A big "Thank You" to you and everyone who gave of their time and resources to make this possible.  Enjoy your weekend!

You have no idea how much the Soldiers, their families, and I appreciate what you have done for us. You guys have taken such good care of us. I have stock piled anything that we have not used is a room and I'm sure the incoming unit will be excited to receive supplies as soon as they get here. We normally just deploy with about a 30 day sustainment of hygiene items and then it takes about 2-3 months to start receiving mail.

This is SGM Craig ---- and I am the ... for 3ID in Afghanistan.  We just received your box of cookies and I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for what you did.  My Soldiers are raving about the cookies and how delicious they are and I am busy telling them for every one they eat they have to run an extra mile! LOL!  I must admit I had one too and it was awesome!  The looks on their faces spoke a 1000 words of gratitude and I cant thank you enough for thinking of us.  You have no idea what it means to get support like this from back home and I am from Texas anyway as are many of my Soldiers so the connection was even more personal.  You will find our address below just in case you guys end up with excess cookies with nowhere to send them!LOL!  Thanks again and God bless you all for what you do.

We moved to a bigger tent so will have plenty of room to display your boxes and sort them to redirect to the Soldiers working in different areas.  Thank you for your prayers and support.
You truly keep our Soldiers morale high.
Blessings, Joshua

That is great. ...  Do you want us to deliver any of the boxes to Soldiers in more remote locations.  We fly all over the area and there are a lot of places that live less "cushioned" lifestlyes than us. Either way I sincerely appreciate your support of my Soldiers and the other Soldiers currently serving.
