At our care package packing party on March 28, 2015, the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas and our guest volunteers were able to pack over 350 boxes for our military troops overseas. The USPS postage costs for just 300 of those March 28 boxes was approximately $10,000.

Our 2015 yearly fundraising goal is $140,000, so we have reached about 4% of our 2015 goal. The first quarter is always slow for fundraising ... but we have the challenge of raising 96% of our yearly goal in the next 9 months.
We would be most grateful for any business, organization, foundation or individual who could donate a tax deductible contribution, of any size, to help our all-volunteer nonprofit support our American troops overseas with care packages.
We estimate our care package goods will reach the hands of over 10,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas in 2015. Most of our military recipients are in areas (Afghanistan, Iraq, Middle East, Africa, etc.) that lack many of the amenities that we take for granted in the U.S.

Some of the product categories that we ship include toiletries, snacks, microwavable meals, socks, twin sheets, DVD's, CD's, video games, first aid products, insoles, hand warmers, soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, sports posters, gloves, sandals, Q-tips, foot powder, etc.
