How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Iraq - American forces are in harm's way - Sec'y of Defense Ash Carter

U.S Secretary of Defense Ash Carter this week announced that the U.S. will send an additional 600 troops to Iraq.

From NPR article:
Carter said at a news conference that all U.S. troops in Iraq faced serious risks. "We're in a support role, but I need to make it clear once again: American forces combatting ISIL in Iraq are in harm's way," he said, according to The Associated Press. "No one should be in any doubt about that."

By most accounts, there are about 6,000 troops (including the short-term, temporary troops) currently in Iraq.  And many are assigned to areas which are short on amenities and daily living necessities.  The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas are proud to be sending care packages to many of these troops in Iraq.  If you are looking for a way to support U.S. troops deployed overseas with care packages, our all-volunteer nonprofit would greatly welcome your support.
