Wondering how to make a year-end donation to support American troops overseas?
While there are many worthy nonprofits supporting veterans and active duty troops residing in the USA, our special focus is on U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines serving overseas in some of the most austere areas ... with a special focus on Afghanistan and Iraq.
We are about $30,000 short of our 2016 fundraising goal ($140,000), and would greatly appreciate your financial donation to our all-volunteer IRS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We have 100-plus volunteers, in the DFW area, who would thank you for helping us reach 10,000+ troops each year with care packages.
Our care packages include such items as toiletries, shelf stable microwavable meals, power tools, socks, gloves, insoles, foot powder, room deodorizers, batteries, beef jerky, powdered drink mixes, vitamins, pillow cases, non-aerosol shave gel, and much more. Also hundreds and hundreds of cards and letters to the troops.
It costs us about $15 in postage (not counting the goods cost) to mail one large USPS flat rate box. And we will mail about 3,500+ boxes in 2016. Funding is our biggest challenge each year.
If you would like to support our care package mission with a much needed monetary donation of any size, some options are:
1) Mail check to: Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011
2) Donate Online via our Click and Pledge donation website.
3) Donate via our Mobile Donation Page.
Thanking you in advance for your support of our military!
Best Holiday Wishes!
