About Us

How Can You Help American Soldiers ?

1) Financial Donations

This is probably the best way for most of you to help us assist U.S. soldiers overseas. Cash donations are generally used for:

a) MAILING COSTS - For every box of donated goods, we have to come up with the postal costs to mail the goods overseas.

b) PURCHASE OF GOODS - The soldiers often request specific items that have not been donated by our good donors. If we have the cash, we can go out and purchase those specific items ... white socks, deodorant, air fresheners, lotions, backpacks for the children, etc.

You may help us with financial donations by:

* Checks made payable to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas  can be mailed to:

or you can donate to our account via credit card thru Click and Pledge:

2) Donate Goods
For the most part, we live in the Carrollton - north Dallas area and store the goods in our homes. So we ask that you contact us prior to shipping any large shipments. All the members of our group have other jobs and activities during the day, so we aren't always available to accept incoming deliveries.

Simple necessities of life are often the most requested items - suntan lotion, eyedrops, skin lotion, shampoo, candy, socks, deodorant, air fresheners, magazines, dvd movies. See the "What is Requested " page to get more details on what items are requested.

Some examples of what is not requested: brightly colored clothes that make soldiers stand out in the crowd as being Americans. Food and other items that might spoil or melt during extreme heat.

Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated by the soldiers. And of course, if you or your children, would like to include personal notes of thanks to the soldiers, that would be a nice touch also.
