Soldiers Certificates from Iraq and Afghanistan

Below are two wonderful certificates recently received from American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Both groups are recipients of our Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas care packages.

Girl Scout Cookies received for care packages

The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas just received 1,451 cases of Girl Scout Cookies that will be included in our care packages for American soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The cookie donations are courtesy of the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains from the Fort Worth Regional Office.

Energizer Bunny Honor for Nancy Carter

Our tireless leader, Nancy Carter, has been selected as one of 100 Semifinalists for the Energizer (Battery) Keep Going Hall of Fame. The contest "celebrates those who make a positive impact on the world with their determination, boundless energy and never-quit spirit." The 10 Finalists will receive donations for the charity of their choice.

Voting for 10 Finalists:
You can vote from March 17-25, 2011 on www.facebook.com/energizerbunny. Clicking on Nancy Carter's 'like' button is your vote.

Energizer will announce the 10 Finalists on or about April 4. Nine will be chosen by a panel of judges, and the one other Semifinalist with the most Facebook "likes" will comprise the 10 Finalists.

Voting for Grand Champion:
Voting on the 10 Finalists will begin April 4 and end May 13. You may cast one, but not more than one, vote per day on www.energizer.com/halloffame.
