How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Care Packages appreciated by U.S. Troops in Afghanistan

The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas received some welcome responses from our military care package recipients in Afghanistan.  We are thankful for the hard work of these U.S. Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen, and glad that our donations of snacks, toiletries and other goodies could bring a few smiles to some great troops serving far from home.
U.S. Troops in Afghanistan have big smiles with our care package goodies.
Some notes to us, and some ideas they gave on care package donations:

As previously mentioned, you guys send the best care packages, giving the folks here what they didn't know they needed.  Nonetheless, I gave the matter some thought and decided to highlight a few popular or particularly useful items.

1) Huggies wipes:  these are super popular because they have so many uses (hygiene, cleaning)
2) Air Fresheners:  given the cramped quarters, these are very useful
3) K-cups:  believe it or not, many offices have Keurigs
4) Jerky and Slim Jims:  always a big hit with the guys
5) Chocolate and snack food:  you can never go wrong with chocolate and all munchies are appreciated
6) Tissues:  with winter and cold season coming up, I'd think the full size boxes of tissues would be great
