How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Ways you can help

What can you, your company or organization do to support the troops overseas?

IDEAS FOR COMPANIES AND BUSINESSES:
* Donate a percentage of sales to a patriotic cause. (i.e., "3% of all sales this weekend will be donated to support the troops.").  Customers will appreciate your support of the troops.

* Setup a matching donation program.

* Donate to a nonprofit based on employees volunteer hours.

* Place collection boxes or donation jars for employees and/or customers.

* Donate surplus, misprinted, or other goods for the soldiers.

* Set up a Casual Friday where participants donate to a nonprofit.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS:
Host any kind of contest (Fun  run, golf, poker, bowling, movie-watching party, concert, etc.) with donations going to the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas.

HOST AN EVENT AT YOUR LOCATION:
- Collection Drive: Bring goods, sort and pack them. Make sure liquid goods (shampoo, etc.) are double bagged with ziploc type bags. Don't mix smelly items with foods.

- Collect cash donations for mailing costs (One cubic foot costs about $30 to mail).
- Write notes and letters to the troops.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:
* Buy blank pillow cases. Draw pictures and write notes to the soldiers on the pillow cases.

* Sew cool ties, blankets, towels, scarves and other personal items for the troops.

* Make handmade greeting cards (great for kids) that soldiers can use to send messages home to their loved ones. Leave enough blank space for soldiers to write their own messages to their family and friends.
