How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Hot Air Balloon Event at AT&T Stadium - Will help us 'lift' care packages to military troops overseas!

On Saturday, April 16, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX (where the Dallas Cowboys play), the Texas Super Glow II hot air balloon event will be held inside the stadium.  The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas will provide volunteers to help at the event.  We will also collect donations at the event, and if enough tickets are sold, a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to help mail our care packages to U.S. military troops deployed overseas.

The Texas Super Glow II website has detailed info on the Super Glow II event:

Join us for this amazing and unique opportunity!  Get up close and personal with 30 sky-high hot air balloons inflated on the field inside AT&T Stadium!  Then, once the lights go down, experience the beauty of a balloon glow like no other.  Plus, take the self-guided tour of the stadium, included in your ticket price!

The first round of balloons will begin inflating at 7:00 pm, join them on the field or watch from the stands. Once balloons are inflated, walk around and talk to the pilots, ask questions about the balloons and interact with the crew.  Around 8:30 pm the lights will go down for a spectacular glow, breathtaking from up close or from the concourse level.

Super Glow II is excited to announce our partnership with local non-profit Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas. This wonderful group collects items and sends care packages on a regular basis to approximately 12,000 military troops serving overseas each year.  Please check out their website and watch our event page soon for a list of items they will be collecting at the stadium entrance!

Suggested soldiers care package donations to drop off at the entry gate: Peanut butter (plastic jars), razors, deodorant, sunscreen, foot powder.

Online tickets must be purchased by April 15, 2016.  A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door.
