Below are some recent letters from soldiers in Afghanistan who have received summer care packages from the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas.
Dear Airborne Angel Cadets,
My name is SPC JD ... from Houston,
Texas currently deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan with the 3rd Infantry
Div out of Fort Stewart, GA. Today my platoon received a wonderful
package from y'all filled with all kinds of awesome things, my favorite
being the Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and playing cards. My absolute
favorite cookie.. and we all like to play spades! And the other cookies
are being devoured as I type this haha. Anyways I just wanted to send a
BIG Texas thank you back to you nice folks!

They have made this deployment much better with all their support. Again, I can't thank you enough. Take Care and God Bless
