How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Carrollton Kroger collection drive Saturday, July 6

The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas will be holding an Independence Day goods collection drive all week at the Carrollton Kroger at Old Denton Road and Hebron Parkway.  Donations can be purchased for the troops all week and dropped in a collection box by the service counter.

On Saturday only, July 6 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, our volunteers will be at the front doors passing out flyers of the particular items we need. We can also accept your donations. The donated goods will be used for our care packages to troops overseas, primarily for the 60,000+ U.S. troops still in Afghanistan.

Pre-made brown bags (typically $8 to $15) will be sold all week inside the Kroger store. We have had a great response so far from Kroger's customers to this 4th of July holiday collection. Some of the items we need for our care packages include energy bars, powdered drink mixes, shelf-stable microwavable meals, nuts, sunflower seeds, non-aerosol shave cream, razors, coffee, Lays Stax chips, eye drops, foot powder, skin lotions, sunscreen, lip balm and jerky.

We welcome anyone in nearby areas (Plano, Lewisville, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Addison, The Colony, north Dallas, etc.) to drop off goods or financial donations this Saturday, July 6. We would also welcome the chance to discuss volunteer opportunities with you.
