How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at before sending any care package goods.

First 2014 care package packing party for troops in Afghanistan!

With the help of our great volunteers, we packed about 300 care package boxes on January, 25, 2014. Our packing party was held in Irving, Texas and we included some special Texas themed items for our American troops overseas. The cartons will be going to some of our U.S. Army and Marine contacts in Afghanistan. And we know they share with their Navy and Air Force buddies at their camps and FOB's.

We give a special thanks to Dawson Logistics for use of their warehouse, and to the Citi volunteers who come out to lend a hand.  We thank everyone who donated financially, or with product donations, or volunteered with their labor. We packed snacks, shelf stable meals, drink mixes, shampoos, body wash, clothing, hand warmers, Kimberly Clark Huggies wipes, toiletries of all kinds, and many other assorted items.

Our care package recipients for this packing party include the Marines from San Diego, California, a unit from the Georgia National Guard, and Army units from Fort Riley, Kansas and Fort Bliss, Texas.

Below are 5 photos of our packing party.
