Anyway, our BX shelves are getting empty and no new trucks are
suppose to be coming anytime soon. Is there anyway you could send a box
or two of bars of soap. This is what we are going to need soon.

First of all I must open with the most heartfelt and deepest thanks to you all. Our time here in Afghanistan is rapidly coming to a close. My Marines of India Company 3/7 have made it through some of the coldest and homesick months during this deployment. I must admit without you all and all the wonderful gifts and generous support the morale and well-being of my Marines would have been in great jeopardy.
I sincerely wish you all the best and want you all to know that we are forever in your debt for the love that you have shown us while here in this God forsaken place. Food items, warm clothing, comfort items, letters, and photos have made for some great times for us. It has been my honor and privilege to have conversed with each and every one of you.
