How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

April 2014 care package updates

Our March care packages are now reaching our U.S. troops overseas. Below are some recent emails from our American troop contacts in Afghanistan to the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas. We have also been busy collecting donated items from the Girl Scouts, an elementary class, team bonding event, Dawson Logistics, Walmart, and some generous individual donors. We thank all of those who are able to help us with financial or product donations. We are also still looking for 1 to 3 used laptops with Windows Vista or Windows 7/8 (wireless, 3 USB ports, hard drive), as we are looking to replace our old XP laptops for printing shipping labels.

Email from Army Chaplain Assistant:
"On behalf of the soldiers of the 365th Engineer Battalion in Afghanistan, I would like to personally thank you for all that you do. Our time is winding down in Afghanistan now but we still have troops that will be here for a while. We do our jobs better because of the support from home. Please remember our troops on the front lines who have died and have been wounded in action, as well as those who have been missing in action for some time. Thank you again. ... God bless."

Email from Marine in Afghanistan:
"I received boxes for the Marines the other day thank you very much, pictures to follow. The marines will really enjoy all the snacks and chow you sent, thank you very much. Semper fi, MJ"

Email from our Coast Guard contact in Afghanistan:
"ALL OF USE ARE TRYING TO EAT HEALTHY AND WORKOUT REGULARLY IF YOU HAVE SUPPLEMENTS OR WORK OUT GEAR THAT WOULD BE APPRECIATED, TOILETRIES, TOWELS ANYTHING IS APPRECIATED  ... YES WE CAN USE (twin) SHEET SETS.
(PX) NOT VERY WELL STOCKED HIT OR MISS."
