Yesterday, a small group of Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas volunteers packed about 100 care package boxes for our U.S. troops overseas. A wide variety of snacks, foods, toiletries, clothing, pillows and other donated goods were packed. We have received some great product donations from various companies and individuals in the Dallas, Texas area in the last few weeks. We thank all those who have helped us support our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guard. Below are some photos of our packing session, and three notes from our U.S. military care package recipients in Afghanistan.

We received your care packages and we can’t thank you enough for what you guys do for us. It really felt like Christmas getting all the boxes for my unit and having toiletries and snacks and all the little things we miss from back home ... We really appreciate any care packages you send to us and know that we are very gracious for it.

I just want to say thank you for the box of girl scout cookies. I would love to thank everyone who helped make this possible for sending so much love in a box that for a lot of the troops it made them feel as if they were back home enjoying the small things just like that. Again I just want to say thank you for your support and love.

Thank you for your interest in our Soldiers here in Afghanistan ... I think the Soldiers are just happy to receive anything at all from people back in the states.
