How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

September 2014 Soldiers care package responses

Below are three recent messages from Soldiers in northern Afghanistan who have received some of our 2014 care packages. Our volunteers and donors are proud to support these military troops serving overseas, and we welcome your support in helping us continue to mail out care packages to some of the 250,000 U.S. troops serving overseas.

Dear Airborne Angel Cadets,

As a Dallas native it makes my heart proud to know that there are so many people in my hometown that are willing to give so much to make such a huge difference in the lives of Soldiers.  The care packages that we have received from your organization over the past couple of weeks have been simply amazing!

It is obvious that you all have been doing this for a number of years as every package that we have received seems to be exactly what our Soldiers have needed and is packed with all the love, care, and precision that I would expect from residents of the Lone Star State!  After all, everything is bigger and better in Texas :o).

Your consummate dedication and commitment to the welfare of, not only our unit, but every unit that you contribute to here in Afghanistan and other Soldiers around the globe, is a true difference maker and morale booster, the likes of which you may never fully know.  Thank you so much for taking the time to bless our lives and make things just a little bit easier as we finish out our time down range.  I hope and pray that this finds you well and that the work of your hands would continue to be established as you impact units for months and years to come.

I would like to thank you for investing the time and money to send us a great set of care packages.  I have been deploying on and off over the past 10 years and these are by far the best I have seen in all those years.
You have made our stay in northern Afghanistan a little more enjoyable with your thoughtful packages.  Know that they have all gone to good use and you have mastered the art of care package building.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful care packages you’ve sent to us throughout this deployment. It has been awesome knowing that there are still people like you that support our Troops in the armed forces. Again, thank you for your support, your blessings  and your love. May God bless you and your families for doing what you do!!!
