How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Wonderful Holiday Thanks to U.S. Troops from New York Supporter!

Woman's World magazine (Dec, 2015) recently encouraged its nationwide readership to donate lip balm and deodorant to the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, for inclusion in our care packages for U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines overseas. We thank Woman's World and the many donors who have contributed to our all-volunteer nonprofit's mission to support American men and women serving in our military overseas.

While there are thousands of extremely worthwhile causes to support during the holiday season, everyone in the USA owes some debt of gratitude to the men and women, past and present, who have sacrificed, worked fervently and risked their lives to protect and serve our great country.

This beautiful letter from Lyn (in New York) accompanied her generous donation of lip balm:
Wonderful letter of thanks to U.S. Troops deployed overseas.

For those who can't read the above image, below is the text of the letter:

We, here in the USA take for granted our happy times with families and our freedom to do what we please.  Often we neglect to think of our brave servicemen and women who are far from families during this joyous time of the year.

Thank goodness for organizations such as yours who send joy to our troops who are unable to enjoy holiday happiness with family and friends.

Enclosed is a supply of Blistex lip balms which I hope you can include in some of the packages you are sending to our servicemen and women.  While they are protecting our freedoms far from home, maybe these will give them a little 'taste' (pun intended) of home that they might enjoy.

Please convey my wishes for their safe return home at some point in the not too distant future.  And also please send along my thanks for their sacrifice and service to our country.

Best wishes for a healthy and safe 2016!
Sincerely, Lyn

Thank you, Lyn!  We will relay your encouragement to our U.S. troops overseas!
