How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Care package message compilation from U.S. troops in last few months

As a reminder of the value of our Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas care packages to our American troops overseas, here are some quotes from our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines in the past few months.

I must say that all of us are completely overwhelmed by your thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity.   Your gesture proves that there are still people that care about us and what we do.

Words cannot express how thankful we are.  Thank you again for your support and generosity on behalf of the entire Operations Division of Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve.

Because our (troops) maintain a constant daily work schedule with few days off, every day to them was 'Groundhog Day' ...  (I too worked 7.5 months w/no days off).  And because all they did was eat, drink, work, and breathe Army 24/7, they were lacking the ... healthy relaxation, rejuvenating fellowship, and stress-reducing fun that keeps them resilient.

For us here in Iraq, excitement has been steadily growing as we draw very close to our departure, and, in reflecting back on the last 7.5 months of our tour, it would honestly have been considerably bleaker without the outstanding support we received from you and your benevolently wonderful organization!

I especially appreciate the baby wipes ... Don't laugh too hard, but before I bed down every night, I use them to wipe my feet down, to cool them down, AND to keep my linens from smelling like a pair of feet that are trapped in combat boots 16 hours a day ... In places like this where the big stuff is totally out of control, it's small stuff like this that makes a difference ... Small stuff from some thoughtful people in the good ol' USA :)

Thank you very much for everything it is awesome for your organization to do this for us. It means so much to us. We have alot of soldiers that don't have much family support back home, so anything is special to them but seriously thank you again for everything.

I can personally attest to the handiness of microwaveable meals and ramen noodles. They're a lifesaver when the weather is too hot, too cold or too rainy to walk to the dining facility. Or if you've missed a meal due to a mission or a meeting.

Your regular contributions have made it abundantly clear to all of us that you're genuinely dedicated to fueling our morale.  Everyone here is extremely grateful for your stalwart generosity.

This is awesome! Thank you for thinking of our office as we don’t often get care packages.  Our sincerest heartfelt thanks --- your selfless donation will accomplish more in the everyday lives of our military than you might imagine.

Thank you for your overwhelming support and kindness. Your combined efforts remind all the Soldies, Sailors, Airman and Marines of loved ones back home and bring a rekindled joy during this holiday period.  It is a great feeling to know there are so many wonderful people at home thinking of us.

Please pass onto the volunteers and anyone involved thank you from the Marines and Sailors of CLB 1.  It is always nice to receive snacks, blankets, hygiene items, etc. from the states and we truly appreciate everyone involved with volunteering their time and resources to send these items out here.

Please pass along our sincere thanks to all of your volunteers.  As usual, we were overwhelmed by the generosity and well wishes.  It’s nice to know that folks at home are thinking of us.  Many of the service members are on their second, if not third, deployment, so it’s nice to have the comforts of home.  My office has the honor of receiving and distributing the boxes that come our way.  The bounty was shared across the camp and many boxes of toiletries and snacks were deposited at the USO.  The blankets, hats and gloves were very welcome and quickly appropriated, especially as winter is fast approaching.

It’s fun to watch these men and women transform from tough military professionals to kids with the biggest smiles when they see a box of cookies or a Christmas stocking.  You have made our holiday season so much brighter and your thoughtfulness is inspiring to all of us.

We appreciate all that you, the donors and volunteers do to make our deployment a better experience and to remind us that while we may be far from home, we're not far from everyone's thoughts.

Thank you so much!  Because of your INCREDIBLY generous support every soldier in our area received a care package from home this Christmas!  You are truly great Americans!

We are truly, humbly, tremendously grateful for your generosity and the support from everyone.  We are a small team ... and we don't have many American things to remind us of home ... we do want you to know how much we appreciated everything that you sent, and all of your good wishes for our safety, service and support. Thank you again for making our Christmas a bright one this year!

Basic Necessities from food to razors and toiletries would be greatly appreciated ... Any support is greatly appreciated ... we don't get MRE's or anything like that.

We took all of your boxes and compiled them in their groups.  After we did that we held a "Chaplain Free Ex" which means tables setup with free stuff ... We just did it without announcing  it and the boxes were empty in about 4 hours.

We really appreciate your support. Our shelves are full again.  Regular size shampoo, baby wipes, foot powders and Biofreeze flew of the shelves. They are the most requested items here ...  Thank you very much again.  God Bless You All.

Once again, we are overwhelmed and humbled by the generosity of everyone back home.
