While we continue to send care packages to U.S. troops in Iraq, there are 66 nations participating in the global campaign to counter the Islamic State. According to the Congressional Research Service's article, Coalition Contributions to Countering the Islamic State (Kathleen J. McInnis, April 13, 2016), 22 of the 66 nations are also participating in military operations in Syria and Iraq.
