How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Care Packages - "Please tell all involved that they are the best in America!!"

Our recent care packages are now being received by U.S. military troops deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Mideast.  A special thanks is given to the volunteers from Delta Air Lines, Levi Strauss, Wells Fargo, and CBRE, who assisted in the mailing of the care packages to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines.

And the shipments would not be possible without all the great volunteers, financial donors, and product donors, who support the American troops through the care packages of the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas.

Below are recent responses.  Some of the care package products mentioned are Zipfizz (powdered energy drink mix), Clif Bars, room deodorizers, hygiene items, drill bits, saw blades and assorted hardware for the maintenance personnel.  We welcome donations of these items, and other items suitable for care packages.

MIDEAST (Army):
We received all 47 boxes from you and the DFW Metroplex Levi Strauss employees today ... The boxes came at just the right time.  With the weather really warming up, many have been going through hygiene items quicker than usual and this really helped everyone out.
Other items that always go quickly are the zipp fizz, clif bars and room deodorizers.
Thank you again for your continued support and generosity.

IRAQ (Marine Corps):
Thank you much for all of the care boxes that you guys have shipped so far. The Marines/Sailors are very grateful for what you have sent and I have received many phone calls letting me know it brightened their day. ... wanted to let you know how greatly appreciative we are of your efforts. I hope you have a great day and please tell all involved that they are the best in America!!

AFGHANISTAN (Army):
We got some packages in and I can't say thanks enough! We have some guys leaving to do some temporary duty in locations with nothing so they are definitely getting the lion's share.

MIDEAST (Air Force)
A variety of bits, say a pack of 20-30 different sizes would be great, length doesn't matter really.  If there is a pack that also comes with sockets to put into the drill, those would be greatly appreciated as well - a variety of socket sizes from 3/16" to 3/4", or metric or whatever.  Those would speed up a lot of our work, if we had the ability to attach those to a drill.  The saw blades just need to be a variety - a pack of 10-20 different lengths and teeth sizes would be just fine.
Thanks again to you and your crew for all your hard work.
