One of our military care package recipients in the Middle East sent his thanks for some care packages just received at his undisclosed base. Lowes (Allen, TX) donated some some great DeWalt (a Stanley Black & Decker subsidiary) tools and hardware (cordless drill, reciprocating saw, flashlight, screwdriver / socket bit sets). And Ironclad donated some of their high quality mechanic's gloves and other industrial gloves to the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas.
Many maintenance personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the Mideast are often finding a hard time being supplied with common hardware tools and supplies (folding pocket knives, mechanic's gloves, flashlights, etc.).
"The saw and gloves came today - thanks again to all your volunteers who are helping out. We can't thank all of you enough!"
"The drills and flashlight and batteries arrived today - thank you for sending them! These came at just the right time, as we are beginning the repairs to our facility."
How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2025?
1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.
