Need a little Monday Morning Motivation? "Temperatures soared to over 129 degrees in the Middle East Thursday and Friday, possibly setting all-time records for the Eastern Hemisphere. The temperature in Mitribah, Kuwait, Thursday soared to 129.2 degrees, which if verified, would be Earth's hottest temperature ever reliably measured outside of Death Valley, Calif." - USA Today, July 22, 2016.
Imagine U.S. troops in the Mideast not only dealing dealing with the extreme heat, but compounding that with their tough military environment ... inadequate a/c in many cases, patrols in the midday sun, battlefield conditions, in many cases limited access to water for showers, etc.
While Pokemon Go enthusiasts are dealing with extreme heat in the USA, the U.S. troops in the Mideast and Southwest Asia are dealing with historically high temperatures! When people in the Mideast complain that it's hot, it's hot! The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas can't do anything about the heat, but we can bring out a few smiles, and perhaps provide a little motivation and moral support, with some care packages from home.
How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?
