Four messages just came in from U.S. Soldiers who are our care package recipients in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Mideast. These troop recipients just happen to be in the Army, but we know these care packages are also shared with those in the Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. As one contact wrote, "Our location does serve as a hub for connecting out stations serving Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines". Sailors also share in our care packages.
Three Soldiers below specifically mention they 'appreciate' the care packages! Little (or big) acts of kindness by our supporters, and anyone in the USA who sends care packages to our deployed troops, are helping to encourage and boost the morale of American troops. And in a more practical sense, we provide many daily living essentials that are not always available in austere locations!
Soldier in Mideast:
So very glad and humbled to hear that we are not forgotten back home. I think that's the greatest thing about these packages. We know someone took the time to acquire the items and pack them. Thank you for your support.
Soldier in Afghanistan:
Thank you so much! Because we fly/work 24 hours a day, we definitely appreciate the care packages/snacks/goodies/etc.! My Soldiers use and/or eat everything in sight :)
Chaplain in Iraq:
Again, I am very appreciative of the packages that your organization continues to send forward. All of the items go very quickly when I set them out. So, I know that your support and contribution is always appreciated.
Soldier in Mideast:
We appreciate your support and of others that take care of us on deployment.
The all-volunteer Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas welcome those who would like to join with us in supporting our deployed troops serving overseas!
How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?
