We received this email from one of our care package recipients - we had a small packing party before the mandated lock down with no more than 10 volunteers working in the packing room. As you can see, the troops are feeling the effects of COVID-19 as well, so it is nice to see that we can help with their needs. It does the heart good to see how much our care packages can boost morale, especially during these challenging and uncertain times.

Because of the virus our camp has been restricted from leaving as much as possible, so it’s harder for our guys to buy supplies. More and more people come here daily to get essentials. Your care packages have helped us so much during this time. I made a dip for the units out here with the supplies you’ve given us. I’m making pancakes for our maintainers for Easter. I will make sure to send you pictures of some of our guys. I can’t remember if I attached these last time, but if I didn’t, here are two pics of some happy Army girls getting boxes and me getting ready to make waffles for our special tactic guys."
