Here is a thank note along with some pictures from a unit that received some of the care packages we packed and shipped last month.
Nancy,
We received 22 care packages over the last week. My soldiers and I appreciate yours and your volunteers amazing generosity. I attached a few pictures of my Soldiers opening boxes.
Respectfully,
Steve G
Some of the boxes contained peanut butter and jelly plus other food goodies. |
Pillow cases made by grade school students. |
Every care package contains at least one thank you letter from home. |
Opening a care package must be similar to opening a Christmas present - you never know what is inside. |
Even something as simple as flip flops can cause a smile! |
