How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Care Package Thank You Letter and Photos

We have received several emails and pictures from troops that we want to share:

Nancy,

We greatly appreciate all you and your team do!  You have been a huge blessing to our Soldiers in making their time away from home better.  We had all the Halloween decorations out and look forward to Christmas decorations you are sending.

Thanks again!

Hi there!

I have received your packages. I have been meaning to reach out. Things have just been a little hectic. I wanted to let you know how grateful I am that you are helping support us here down range. I honestly cannot express how much it means to know that folks back in states have us in mind while we are here. If you send more packages we are always grateful for anything you send, but just for your awareness we have tons of hygiene products but snacks usually don’t last long. Especially because the cafeteria sucks LOL J Usually things like beef jerky, chewy candies, chocolate, cookies, snack cakes or chips are ideal.

I can’t express how much appreciation I have for you and your folks that help make it happen. I know that it takes a lot of kindness to do what you do for us and I cannot say thank you enough!

Have a great day!

Very Respectfully,

Nancy,

Our rotation date is up in the air still but we expect it to be early December.  My replacement is CPT Colvin, CCed, with Detachment 3.  I expect his group to be enthused to receive your generosity.

I attached some photos of the soldiers opening some boxes.  They were ecstatic for the Halloween decorations and put them all over our office.  Two of our soldiers dressed up like my NCOIC and I for Halloween.  We also have two promotions.  It's been a good but busy month.

We will have to keep in touch.  I will try and schedule a trip out to Texas during one of your volunteer days to meet people and help pack boxes.  I will send more pictures with the next set of boxes.  Thanks again.

Respectfully,

Steve G
