How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at before sending any care package goods.

Care Package Thank You Notes from the Troops

Here are some more thank you notes we received from the troops after they received the care packages we sent in April.

Hi Tammy and also the rest of the team at Airborne Angel Cadets.

Thank you again so much and very timely as in the very near future expecting the numbers on base to increase significantly as people are brought here out of Afghanistan.

As expected with any move they will be unsettled so anything to ease their transition to here is very much appreciated.

I will certainly let people know the story behind the Hell Cats, John and your dad.

Thank you again

Ms. Carter & Airborne Angel Cadets team,

Thank you all so much for the care packages!  They arrived today, and I have begun delivering to our different divisions and mission partners.  So the packages arrived at a time when we have a great many new personnel; so this sets a wonderful tone in terms of morale.

Please accept my sincerest gratitude on behalf of the men- and women-in-arms here!

Hi Nancy!

Well the mail came through this week and believe it or not we've already received 4 of the boxes you sent! The timing has been great as we have a new group of service members at CLDJ and they're loving the snacks!

I contacted a Chaplain about the kiddie pool and he should be stopping by to pick it up. Thank you so much!

We'll keep you posted as the others arrive and send photos!

Thank you for the care packages! The remaining boxes arrived this week and the bug spray has come in very handy! Not only did we get a lot of rain this past week thus bringing more mosquitos, but a group of our regular patrons have been conducting training exercises along the coast.  We've been able to load them up with bug spray and sunscreen!

We'll send pictures soon! Thank you from all of us in Djibouti!

Hey Nancy! I hope you're having a great day.

I received the care packages and the items you all sent and it hit the mark. The soldiers were excited to see water balloons and the pool along with all the snacks, cereals, pillows, and sandals. Thank you again for all you guys do to bless our troops. Blessings!

Grace and Peace,

Ryan H.
