The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, along with some great volunteers from Delta Air Lines, packed over 370 care packages totaling more than $8,000 in shipping costs for the U.S. Military troops stationed overseas at our packing party on August 7, 2021. These care packages will be shipped to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines in Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa and the Mideast. The care packages were packed with toiletries, snacks, microwavable meals, notes from supporters, and other goodies. The theme for this packing party was "Hawaiian Luau", so Hawaiian decorations, including grass skirts and coconut bras plus other items were included in the boxes.
