How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Care Package Thank You Notes

Here are some notes and a couple of pictures we received from two of the units that received the care packages we sent earlier this month. The theme for the care packages was "Greetings from Texas". The boxes contained Texas food items like salsa and chips, plus pinatas and Texas themed t-shirts along with the regular snacks and toiletries we always send.

I've attached two photos from the first delivery. I wanted more but we had to readjust our positions and we are currently prepping to redeploy back to the states.

The pinata will definitely be a hit for our redeployment events. I will make sure we follow up with letters to show our appreciation.

Hi Mrs. Carter!

I have some good news / bad news to share: first, your 44 boxes arrived! Wow, you all sent a TON of great stuff! We are very grateful, and are already working the processes now to be able to forward many of the boxes you sent here on to our Service Members deployed at forward operating bases throughout this region who have less access to tastes of home like snacks & treats & candy.

The bad news is that our locations, personnel, and nature of our mission here are all confidential and unable to be shared.

What I can tell you is that our Service Members are deeply grateful -- for your thoughtfulness, your generosity, your practical support, your encouraging words & thoughts & prayers. Thank you -- so so much! -- for remembering us here, and for caring so practically and helpfully for the Soldiers serving here. This is a high-stress environment here, and your love from home truly means a lot!
