How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

About Us

Mission Statement: To support American men and women serving abroad in harm's way by supplying them with goodies, needs and comforts of home, along with thoughts and prayers, to let them know that we, at home, care and support them and that they are not forgotten.

We started out sending care packages to American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan in January of 2005. Our small group of ladies in the Dallas area has grown to about 100 active men and women (all unpaid volunteers), and we continue to get requests from our soldiers in Iraq, Africa, Eastern Europe, Mideast and Southwest Asia.

We receive donated goods and financial donations from our supporters all across the USA. Every gift is greatly appreciated by us and by the American Soldiers, Airmen, Marines and Sailors overseas.  Even basic toiletries, food products, socks and other daily living items are hard for the troops to find at many military outposts.

Our care packages are sent year round to troops from all 50 states in all branches (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard) of the U.S. military. We try to concentrate our efforts on troops on the front lines and in remote areas.

We always have more requests than we can supply.

The simplest items (lip balm, suntan lotion, batteries, coffee, deodorant, air fresheners, snacks, candy, baby wipes, razors, etc.) really brighten the lives of the soldiers, and give them a little reminder of love and support from home.

But just as remarkable is to find so many American soldiers requesting items they can give to the local kids and families and community organizations (schools, etc.).

We shipped 2,399 care packages of donated goods in 2023. The USPS postage costs for 2023 came in a little over $44,000. Funding for postage has always been our greatest need, and any tax deductible financial donations would be greatly appreciated.

Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, welcomes any inquiries of support for the troops.
