How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Summer 2014 care package responses from Afghanistan

Below are some recent responses from U.S. troops in Afghanistan who are receiving our care packages, shipped to arrive prior to the 4th of July.  The donated goods will be distributed amongst Soldiers, Airmen, Marines, Sailors and Coast Guardsmen across Afghanistan.  At this time, there are about 32,000 U.S. military troops in Afghanistan.

Messages from troops:
Soldier gives appreciation for our care packages
Thank you so much for the support.  It really does go a long way.

In addition to all this, I'd ask that you please pray for one of our soldiers' family ...  He was killed last week. God Bless you all, the strength of our nation rests in folks like you all.  Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for what you have done for us during this deployment.  I truly send our appreciation from all service members here on how much we thank all the volunteers who come out to support this organization ... we look forward to the arrival of all those boxes. We are having a 4th of July organizational day so your timing could not be more perfect. Thanks again for all that you do!

The biggest thing we worry about now is the upcoming heat. Being from Texas, I feel that I will be somewhat prepared for this. Over the next 2 months the average high is supposed to be 115. Knowing that I have decided that sunblock is my new daily lotion!

Your organization truly is doing wonderful things for soldiers that are away from their loved ones. Thank you for caring and supporting all of us! Thank you again for everything your organization does for our troops.

Thank you so much. I will be sure that these get to Soldiers that need them!

It really means a lot  to hear how appreciative everyone back in the States are and support what we are doing over here.
