How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2024?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

Soldiers Care Packages in 2016! Thanks to anyone who can assist!

The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas are currently supporting U.S. military troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Romania and various other countries in Africa, the Mideast, and Eastern Europe.  While many charities (Wounded Warrior Project, etc.) focus more on serving America's veterans, we focus our care packages on American troops actively deployed in remote, and often dangerous, areas overseas.

There are about 225,000 U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed outside the continental U.S. and its territories. While most have comfortable living conditions (Japan, Korea, Italy, Spain, etc.), our care package recipients in more austere conditions are very grateful to receive hard-to-find basic living items.  Many thousands do not have access to nice stores (PX, BX, NEX, MCX, etc.), on or off-base, and many have no regular access to U.S. bases (out on extended missions, at sea, assigned to the host country's base - with no American dining facilities, etc.).

Some of the care package items that troops have mentioned on their wish lists recently include simple things like body wash, shampoo, deodorant, shelf-stable microwavable meals, protein powder, insoles, foot powder, foldable pocket knives for maintenance work, coffee, powdered drink mixes, batteries, snacks, razors, non-aerosol shave gel, energy bars, laundry pods, air fresheners and many other assorted toiletry and food items.

If you are looking for an opportunity to send some encouragement and support to American troops overseas, we would be very grateful for any financial support.  Our donations slow considerably in the early months of the year. If your company has a fiscal year ending March 31, perhaps you could consider an early 2016 donation for the troops.

We are an all-volunteer (no paid staff) 501(c)(3) nonprofit with about 100 volunteers in the Dallas - Fort Worth, TX region. We have been sending care packages for 10 years and support U.S. troops in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard ... from all 50 States!  We estimate over 10,000 troops received some items from our care packages in 2015.
