Hot sauce, seasonings and other flavoring items are one of the items that Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines ask for in their care packages. While deployed overseas, many troops look for ways to add new tastes to their routine MRE's or standard military meals.
The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas are thankful to have received generous donations of hot sauce packets direct from Taco Bell and Texas Pete. We also like to include other hot sauces and seasonings (not in glass containers) in our care packages. If you can donate some of these, please let us know. Hot, spicy items are a common request.

"Find inspiration from something as simple as an undiscovered seasoning packet."
"Swapping hot sauce for buffalo or barbecue in a battle buddy's meal can bring new life to the same old menu item."
"Try an unlikely aioli-like sauce by combining hot sauce and mayo packets."
The idea is that the same MRE can taste different each day ... if the troops can add different sauces or seasonings to their standard military foods. And that's where the care packages can assist.
