Last year, Ken and Sabra had volunteered to help pack care packages at one of our packing parties when they recognized one of the units had the same name as the unit where their son was posted. They contacted their son and lo and behold it was his unit! What a unforeseen surprise. This week they were at Ft Hood to welcome their son home from Afghanistan. Knowing that two of our volunteers had a son serving overseas helps to brings more significance to the work we do to support our troops.
