Mrs. Bell and her amazing Downing Middle School (Flower Mound, TX) students held their annual Sweet Tooth Bakery on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The proceeds from bakery will be used to buy items for the care packages we send to our U.S. military troops serving overseas. The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas are proud to receive these donations and will make sure these goods reach our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines overseas.
The Downing Sweet Tooth Bakery has been an annual school project since 2013. The "Skills for Living & Principles of Human Services" students organize, market, manage and operate a bakery business to sell a variety of cupcakes, brownies, cookies and t-shirts. The profits are then used to buy specific care package items for American service members.
We appreciate these patriotic, hard working students! The troops will be excited to receive the care package with the items the students have purchased!
